Proud of our past, ready for our future.

Clean Energy Career Scholarships

As we shift from coal to clean energy local workers must be included. We need to support training and job pathways so locals can be job ready for renewables.

Hi Neighbour is helping locals up-skill for clean energy careers. Each round focuses on crucial clean energy jobs and vital demographics in our community. We have $20,000 worth of total financial support to offer alongside priceless mentoring and Hi Neighbour support.

So far we have supported Electricians, women and gender diverse people and in 2025 we will be supporting First Nations people to train for careers in clean energy thanks to out community solar partnership with local manufacturer Buckaroo.

Check out our amazing awardees.
